Community Guidelines
Speak the truthin love.
These guidelines apply to BREAD, the Love Centre forum and the prayer wall. They help every conversation stay safe, kind and Christ-like.
Who can take part
Anyone can read. To post, reply or react you need a free account, a display name, and you must be 16 or over. You'll be asked to accept these guidelines before your first post.
Be respectful and Christ-like
- Speak with kindness, patience and humility, even when you disagree.
- Encourage one another and build each other up.
- Stay on topic: BREAD is for discussing the day's reading; the Love Centre forum is for Bible-based discussion about love, relationships and marriage.
Not allowed
- Hate, harassment, bullying or threats.
- Explicit or sexual content.
- Spam, advertising or fundraising.
- Sharing other people's private details, or anything shared with you in confidence.
- Pretending to be someone else.
Respect confidentiality
What people share about their lives is precious. Please don't repeat it elsewhere. If you need to talk about something sensitive, you can ask anonymously in the Love Centre forum: your name is hidden from the public but visible to moderators.
The forums are for mutual encouragement, not professional counselling. If you or someone else is in danger, call 999. Samaritans: 116 123. Safeguarding concerns should never be posted publicly. See our Safeguarding page.
Moderation
Moderators (Jonathan Mbir and anyone he appoints) may edit, hide or remove posts, pin or lock discussions, and mute or remove members who break these guidelines. An automatic filter masks offensive words, and new members have posting and link limits for their first day.
A post is hidden automatically after 3 reports until a moderator reviews it.
How to report
Use the Report button on any post and choose a reason (spam, abusive, inappropriate or other). Moderators are notified straight away. You can also email mail@kogint.com.
Your posts and your data
You can edit or delete your own posts at any time, and close your account from your account page. See our Privacy Policy for how forum posts, display names and reports are stored.
